MATT GLISTA

After hearing Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” for the first time back in 8th grade (2003), I began teaching myself to play guitar. I resurrected my dad’s cumbersome 12-string acoustic from a dusty closet and put my fingers to work.

Since then I’ve written and recorded over 100 songs between my solo project ‘Mista Glista’ and bands The Bubbs, Bum Jukebox, and The 92s.

I’ve also played about 50 live shows with these acts and others over the last 15 years, including performances for Taste of Chicago, Hard Rock Cafe, & SoFar Sounds.

In autumn 2022, The Bubbs reassembled with additional guitarist/songwriter Pat Richert and drummer Garrett Potterton. Stay tuned for new tunes soon!
